Who we work with

A pest control partner for council housing, hostels and temporary accommodation

ThermoPest supports local authorities and councils with pest control across council-owned housing, temporary accommodation, hostels and other buildings. We are bed bug heat treatment specialists, and we also treat cockroaches, fleas, moths, carpet beetles and stored product insects.

Council work often spans very different buildings, from family homes to hostels and multi-site estates. We plan each job around access and residents, inspect neighbouring flats when we treat flats, and send a written report with photos after every visit, giving your officers a clear audit trail.

We work with

  • Council-owned housing and housing management teams
  • Temporary accommodation and hostels
  • Environmental health referrals
  • Multi-site buildings and estates
  • Procurement and contract managers who need clear records

How a job runs

A clear process from referral to close

1

Referral

Your housing or environmental health team sends us the job. Priority response options are agreed per contract.

2

Inspection

A technician inspects the property, and neighbouring flats where relevant, and photographs activity and entry points.

3

Report back

You get a written report with photos and recommendations, ready for the tenant summary and your case file.

4

Treatment

Heat-led treatment, with targeted spray where needed. Residents get a clear preparation guide before we arrive.

5

Proofing

We seal gaps around pipes, vents and skirting where agreed, to cut off routes between homes.

6

Follow-up

We return where needed and update the report, so each case has a complete record from referral to close.
