Our 12-Week Treatment Guarantee

What the Guarantee Covers

Our 12-week treatment guarantee runs for 12 weeks (84 days) from the day your first treatment is completed. If signs of live bed bugs return in that time, we come back and carry out a follow-up treatment at no extra cost. A return visit may include further heat treatment or a targeted spray, depending on what the technician finds.

The guarantee covers qualifying bed bug treatments, and our moth, flea and carpet beetle treatments.

Which Treatments Qualify

• The full agreed treatment was completed in every area that needed it.
• The property was prepared as instructed before the visit, and the aftercare advice was followed afterwards.
• Any problem is reported within the 12 weeks, with access given for a return visit.

In flats and shared buildings, bed bugs can come back from a neighbouring home that hasn’t been treated. The guarantee may not apply where untreated neighbouring properties still have bed bugs, so your technician will talk you through this before the treatment.

What Isn’t Covered

• Partial treatments, where areas were left out at the customer’s request or couldn’t be reached.
• Problems caused by structural issues, inaccessible areas or limits placed on the treatment.
• Return visits where the guarantee conditions haven’t been met. These may be charged.

How to Make a Claim

1. Contact us within the 12 weeks on 0808 189 2310 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm).
2. Send clear photos or a short video of live bed bugs, or of bugs caught in traps or interceptors.
3. Give us access to the property so we can inspect and, where needed, treat again.

The guarantee applies to the customer who booked the original treatment and can’t be transferred. The full wording is in section 2 of our terms and conditions.

How long is the ThermoPest guarantee?

Do I pay for a return visit?

No. Qualifying return visits and follow-up treatments within the 12 weeks are provided at no extra cost.

Why do some jobs need a follow-up visit?

Most treatments are completed within a day, but heavy infestations, clutter or bed bugs coming from a neighbouring flat can mean a follow-up is needed. That is what the guarantee is there for.

Does the guarantee cover moths, fleas and carpet beetles?

Yes. Our qualifying moth, flea and carpet beetle treatments carry the same 12-week guarantee.
