ThermoPest acts as an advertising agent, connecting clients with effective pest control services provided by our network of subcontracted pest control companies. These terms and conditions outline the scope and limitations of our services, including any associated guarantees and responsibilities of both our clients and subcontracted companies.

Guarantee Clause

The Definition of Guarantee

The term “guarantee” used in our terms symbolises our commitment to facilitate pest control solutions that aim to eradicate issues such as bed bugs through the subcontracted pest control services. While we ensure our subcontractors employ effective measures for extermination, complete eradication cannot always be assured due to factors like high infestation levels or inaccessible treatment areas.

30-Day Return Guarantee

Scope of Guarantee:

• This guarantee specifically applies to bed bug and pest treatments conducted through our subcontracted companies within the last 30 days.
• The guarantee is valid for treatment areas where comprehensive heat treatment was performed by the subcontracted service provider.

Return Visit Procedure:

• If there is a reported pest issue within 30 days of the initial treatment, the relevant subcontracted company will schedule a return visit, providing adequate proof of live bed bugs has been supplied by video or captured on traps.
• The return visit may include targeted chemical treatment to address any persistent pest concerns.

Non-Complete Property Heat Treatments:

• The 30-Day Return Guarantee applies only to properties where the heat treatment was completed comprehensively on all required areas by the subcontractor.
• Our guarantee excludes multi-occupancy buildings, such as flats, apartments, hotels, and terraced properties, where the entire building was not treated. This includes situations where active infestations exist in untreated neighbouring rooms.
• Guarantees will not extend to cases where the initial heat treatment did not cover the entire property due to restrictions or limitations placed by clients or other reasons.

Client Responsibilities:

• Clients must notify us or the subcontracted company of any pest-related concerns within the 30-day guarantee period.
• Clients must allow access to the property for return visits and necessary follow-up treatments.
• Clients are required to present evidence of an active infestation, such as a photo of a live pest.

Exclusions from Guarantee:

• The guarantee does not cover new infestations introduced after the initial treatment.
• Guarantees are void if clients do not adhere to the post-treatment guidelines provided by the subcontracted company.

Limitations:

• The 30-Day Return Guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original client for whom the initial treatment was conducted.

Additional Services and Obligations

ThermoPest may offer promotional or advertising services for other pest control solutions outside of bed bug extermination. These will be subject to separate terms and may not include the same guarantees. Clients are encouraged to consult with us for the most suitable treatment options and specific preparations needed to maximise treatment effectiveness provided by the subcontractors.
