A fusion of our bed bug detector and bed bug slider provides comprehensive monitoring coverage. The key distinction between these two monitoring solutions lies in their placement. The bed bug detector is strategically positioned in areas surrounding the target locations (such as those in proximity to and around the bed), while it is not concealed beneath the mattress. Conversely, the bed bug slider is specifically designed for placement beneath the mattress. This combination ensures thorough monitoring across all relevant areas.

Bed Bug Detector 

Should be placed in areas where a bed bug infestation is expected, such as on the floor next to skirting boards and under the bed’s headboard. This placement allows for effective and discreet identification of the presence of bed bugs.

Once an infestation has been identified using bed bug monitors, the extent of the infestation should be treated with our professional bed bug treatment service. If no bed bugs are caught in the monitor following the recommended placement duration, this does not guarantee that the room is free from bed bugs.

Additionally, to the untrained eye and without knowledge of insect morphology, bed bug nymphs can sometimes be misinterpreted as other insects, such as booklice. If there is doubt in confirming the presence of bed bugs, please contact our team and we will be able to identify from photos.

The bed bug trap is intended as one of the ‘tools’ available to assist the professional user in implementing control measures according to the recommended best practice guidelines to control bed bugs. The trap has a two-year storage shelf life and is recommended to be replaced every four weeks when in service.

Bed Bug Slider

The Bed Bug Slider is designed to catch bedbugs as a means of monitoring for the first signs of an infestation. Bed Bugs and insects are attracted to the textured base of the Slider. They explore the base and then become trapped on the adhesive formulated for bedbugs. The clear window allows for easy inspection.

You can easily place the Slider between a mattress and box spring, but the ideal placement is under four corners of the mattress. The Slider can also be placed under sofa cushions and in other upholstered furniture, inside luggage, in cars and under-car floor mats, in and around rest area lockers at schools, and baseboards.
